Wow! That's opal coloured water! We questioned the police and more military in Palenque. Everyone confirmed that the route into Chiapas was safe. We decided to give it a try at least until Aguas Azul, just 60 km from Palenque. Good choice... The place is beautiful, and we are lucky, the waters are as blue as we had dreamed (they can be brown with mud in the wrong season). Impossible to resist, Christian and Brice went for a swim...
